Volyn Regional Children's Territorial Medical Center is a participant of the "Hospital To Hospital" Program

During September 5-30, 2005 Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko’s Fund “Ukraine-3000” held an open competition among children’s medical facilities of Ukraine to select participants of the “Hospital To Hospital” Program.

An application form of a competition participant - Volyn Regional Children's Territorial Medical Center (VRCTMC) - was sent to the Fund to be considered by its Commission of Experts.

In September 2005 the VRCTMC was visited by Head of the Fund Board Mr. Dmytro Lyapin and Manager of the “Hospital To Hospital” Program Ms. Vira Pavlyuk.

On October 24, 2005 in the Ukrainian House there was held a press-conference where there were named 22 Ukrainian children’s medical facilities which became the winners of the Program competition. Volyn Regional Children’s Territorial Medical Center is among them.

We hope that our participation in the “Hospital to Hospital" Program will allow to:

Improve quality of medical help delivered to the child population of the region;
Get a possibility to know in practice experience of delivering medical help to children outside Ukraine and to train our medical staff to improve its professional level;
Introduce contemporary medical achievements into practical health care delivery to mothers and children with the aim of diagnosis and treatment improvement;
Receive new diagnostic and treatment equipment and machinery;
Continue building the new perinatal center and reconstruction of the existing facilities.
