Visit of Minister of Health Care of Ukraine
to Volyn Regional Children’s Territorial Medical Center

On March 21, 2008 Minister of Health Care of Ukraine Vasyl Knyazevych made a working visit to the Volyn Regional Children’s Territorial Medical Center. The guest was accompanied by Head of Volyn Regional State Administration Mykola Romanyuk, Head of Volyn Regional Rada Anatoliy Hrytsyuk, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Volodymyr Karpuk, Head of Volyn Health Care Department Ihor Vashchenyuk.

The minister got acquainted with the VRCTMC activities, its priorities in work, participation in international projects and "Hospital-To-Hospital" program of the "Ukraine-3000" fund.

In the informational resource birth defects OMNI-Center

Dr. B. Knyazevych showed special interest in peculiarities of organizing medical help to neonates in the neonatal center conditions and perspectives of organizing contemporary perinatal services. The minister was shown the project of the Volyn Regional Perinatal Center construction.

In addition, the guests visited the Centralized Department of Clinical Microbiology where they saw contemporary methods of bacteriological testing used.

Vasyl Knyazevych made notes in the "Golden Book of Volyn Regional Perinatal Center Founders": "I thank the VRCTMC staff for excellent work. Life of each Ukrainian newborn is the national wealth. I wish to discharge all patients in good health".
