St. Nicholas Day On the St. Nicholas Day eve the Volyn Regional Children's Clinical Hospital was visited by O.M. Hrinchenko, Head of the Board of Volyn Regional Children's Fund of Ukraine, who brought children some presents. The fund has collaborated with the Volyn Regional Children's Territorial Medical Center for many years. Besides presents and prizes it provides children with various concert programs. This year the fund has become a sponsor of an Academic Regional Puppet Theater puppet show.
On December 19 there was a St. Nicholas holiday liturgy for children and the hospital personnel. Educators organized a fun competition program for the hospital children giving them prizes sponsored by the Scandinavian Children’s Mission in Ukraine.  Fun competition program On December 20 children of Pediatric Department #2 and Department of Surgery viewed a puppet show of the "Transfiguration" Volyn Charitable Fund volunteers who also presented children with toys and books. The fund will continue helping sick children in the hospital.
